Best sounding muffler on six with single exhaust?

OK, let's hear it guys? What do you like? I want to add a 2-1/4 inch single pipe with a good sounding-performing muffler. I don't mind if it's a little loud. My kid's gonna drive it. What sounds good?

Hands down, the Dynomax Super Turbo. Very smooth and tasteful. Quite when you cruise and plenty of bark when you step on it...

does it rumble at most RPM's rather than just idle???? does it sound deep and sexy ....something like this????

Those were great.... for about a month.... Those are Purple Hornies... got them from Pep Boys IIRC. True duals from a Cliffy header, 2-1/4" pipe (way too big), with the mufflers right in front of the axle....


The Super Turbo is MUCH smoother and almost as loud.

i guess the only way to achive a real nice sound would be to use headers??? cant get the same sound out of a stock manifold with y pipe i guess??? i really like the sound of the purple hornies there...everytime i hear the sound file i tingle...cause i know that if i can get my exhaust sounding like that...woah man...i'll be getting looks....my cherry bomb i had placed quite close to the front of the car but sounded like a ricer...guess thats caused by the stock makifold....geez headers are pricey though....
