best year for maverick engine mounts?

My car parts vendor wants to know a year for the maverick motor mounts I need for the 250 in my ´65 stang (crappy, crappy hood clearance with the stock carter RBS and adapted ´65 air cleaner).

They´re literally lost when it comes to anything but chevy 350.
Example? Last time I ordered replacement rocker arms they sent me 289 stuff.
I´d be pleased if you could give me a fool proof year for the mucho-needed 250 motor mounts.

thanks in advance

When you hear the suggestion of using Maverick mounts to fit a 250, I believe the implication is to use the motor mount to frame bracket. This is a junkyard piece. Non-wearable and therefore not reproduced. You won't find these in a parts store. When you are searching, be careful not to get mounts from a Mav with a V8. When I put a 250 in my '68 I ended up getting brackets from a Granada with a 250.

I used the original '65 mounts with the holes elongated in the bracket that bolts to the engine, so that the engine sits a little lower. I also used an aircleaner designed to fit on the Carter YF carburetor that sits pretty low. It fits and with almost 1/8" to spare! The maverick brackets and mounts I have don't look like they will even come close to working. They are way to short to reach the engine. Supposedly they came from a '77 maverick.
