hi everybody . ive just rebuilt my BW35 , it goes into forward and reverse , but i cannot push the car backwards ??? i can push it forwards but not backwards , have i overtightened the forward , reverse band , or im possibly thinking ive put the sprag clutch in back to front ? can anybody help ????

thanks thats what i was thinking, oh well back to the pulling apart ,grrr
Take off the pan and just check you can move the band linkages with a screw driver, but they would have to be very tight or something has gone very wrong to cause that problem.
