can anyone help me on picking a carb and a cam that will work together i was playing around with my desktop dyno and i found out that if i change to a 350CFM carb and a cam with 260 duration and 450 lift it will make almost the same HP if i supercharge it.(m90 9psi)

*fuel economy not important, looking for low-mid range power

I think the engine is an early 6 i remember seing a C3 casting number, i want to give it to my uncle as a birthday present along with a new header

if that doesnt give you an answer, pm mike(AZcoupe) or email clay smith.

i would probably say a 264* or 264/274*, simply because thats the closest to the specs your looking for. thats 450 lift at the valve, 214*(/224*) at .050 and they come with either 110 or 112* lobe centers (though you can order anywhere from 108-114* for a little extra).

but then again, you didnt give your compression ratio, what transmission, rear gear or even the engine size (im assuming a 170 cause of the C3 casting). so i don't think anyone will be able to give you a good suggestion, until we have a little more info.
