The tech archive says the camshaft gear bolt should be torqued to 42-45 ft/lbs.

Do I need to use blue or red loctite on the bolt?
And can I reuse the original bolt, or should it be replaced?

I think if you are planning on hammering your engine very much than the Red Loctite would be better otherwise the Blue is plenty good. The Original Cam Gear bolt should still be fine if it fits snugly into the Cam (I.E. No Excessive Side Ways Movement in the threads), be sure you have the Camshaft Spacer Ring installed correctly too with the bevel towards the The Camshafts Radius use a little Loctite on those Cam Thrust Plate "Place Bolts" too. Good luck
