can't find parts to build carb linkage

I have been to auto zoo, pep boys, napa etc.. Looking for the little ball and socket connectors for the carb linkage i need to fabricate. The guys at all the stores just scratch their heads and give me that blank look.

I have tried hardware stores too...No luck

Or go to www.speedwaymotors.com or www.afcoracing.com and use the little 10/32" heims like I'm doing. I've bought some steel rods from the Home Despot to use for the linkage itself.
