carb changeover

my new remanufactured autolite 1100 is faulty per my mechanic. What are the pitfalls in switching it over to a holley 1946. He is currently switching dizzy over to a duraspark II too. Are their vacuum lines that have to be plugged? Thanks for everyones help so far on the soon to be daily driver.

I am thinking you would have to change every carb connection to make that work.
