am interested in swapping carb. from autolite1100 to to holley 1946 .I know i have to alter thottle linkage,done deal. But seem like there is a lot more vac. hoses and it has electric . choke. 65 stang 'pertronix ign.and coil,clifford headers,Eo. head.[/quote]

I didnt have to alter my linkage...slapped it on a go..

there is a vacuum issue to sort out and a you have to tune it....

what are your reasons for wanting to switch?

holley1946 carb is commonly used this type of cyl. head W/ the 1.75 dia throttle bore.autolite carb is 1.5
