Carburetor spacer for motor craft carb on 1982 fairmont

Hey guys I am looking for a spacer and gasket set that goes between the carb and the aluminum spacer. I have removed the EGR and factory exhaust manifold and am replacing with a header and I can’t find the spacer anywhere. The part number is EOBE-9C477-BA… any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hello. Are you using the stock carburetor? I bought the head and some other parts off a 1982 200 a few years ago. The carb was all emissioned out and complicated, and the spacer had the EGR flange cast in. The inlet in the E0 large log head had the usual 1-3/4" bore and standard spacer bolt pattern. But the carb studs on that spacer were not the same width apart as older editions of large log spacer. So it was probably only made that way for a year or two, and might be unavailable now, I don't know. If you get a different carb, you could use the more common older spacer, as in the picture. Places like NAPA and O'Reillys had the gaskets for those last time I checked (and bought some) a few years ago. If you still have your old EGR enabled spacer, can you cut the EGR flange off and plug the hole? And it's a simple gasket, making your own from some generic gasket material wouldn't be hard. Good luck.
