Would just like to know how many corty's came with power stearing?
Is it easy to covert from manual to P/S?

yup piss easy to convert...... only te-tf's came out with power stering ive never seen a tc/td with it... u need the rack, pump, and lines, and the shaft from the rack to the colum, as this is different... most gihrs ?? came out with it sorry bout the spelling

RIGHTY'O
I have a setup, wanted to know if it was a bolt up fit.
Thanx

Pommy Corty's (import Pom 2.3 V6 TE and TF 2.3 V6's on this side of the ditch) have a power steering option. The 1982-1990 Hyundai Stella Prima power steering system is exactly the same systemm, along with an adjustable version of the pre 1977 Cortina suspension, and fits Oz TC/TD's.

Most Cotina sixes of the TF era got the TRW power rack you have. They are often used in LH-UC Torana power steering conversions, CRS used to do a few of 'em for the V8 guys.

All Cortina set-ups, regardless of type, are very light, but has 3.1 turns lock to lock, rather than 4.2 turns. With a tight turning circle 2 meters narrower than the Falcon, and a set of wider 225 feet, its a winner in my book!

Thanks for the info
It sounds like il have good chuckability in the donut pad

powersteer is great i drove my te for 2 years without it and as soon as i got it i dunno how i lived without it the steering is soo light it aint funny

its annoying to fit the really need toundo the drivers side engine mount and jack the engine up on that side but it is possible with lots of swaring to get it to fit without removing the mount

best of luck
