However... I did today go and hold a crossflow sandwich plate up against the V6 TH-700 flange.
The lower bolt holes were within reason, but uppers on the GM bell are higher than the crossflow ones. This potentially creates a challenge. I'd been hoping we could cut a new flange to replace the old one, and just weld/face/drill the casing.
Next will be trying the crossflow sandwich plate against a V-8 TH-700 trans, but it won't happen for a week or three.
