was thinkin bout runnin some nice size, maybe 3inch side pipes right before the rear wheels. I was wondering if shelby style traction bars (maybe added later this year) would interfere??? Any thoughts?? I wanna find a really nice look for my tips and dont wanna do GT style for lack of money, throw around some ideas guys, would love to see some pics too!!!!!! I need inspiration!

I'd like to see Shelby-style sidepipes on an Inline. I was considering doing this myself, but I'm starting to lean towards Slant cut tips going out a GT rear valance.
Some things I was thinking about for the sidepipes was sound quality and volume. Original Shelbys used Glasspacks, but the sound quality on a 6 would not be so good. I think turbo mufflers would provide the perfect sound for a sidepipe setup. But I think you would need a muffler designed to be used for sidepipes(like the Borla system on Cobra R's), but that too can get quite pricey.

Don't know if your interested, but here's the system I was running on the car. It was just chrome turndowns. My friends liked it cause they said it mirrored the Bumper guards. But I'm getting rid of the bumper guards to give it a restomod look. So it's either GT valance or side pipes(you have me seriously thinking about these again  ) from here.

But the turndowns were a cheap alternative.

yeah, the turn-downs look nice, I was really lookin into that or even just dumping it after the muffler, saves even more money, lol. I figured since they didnt have to bend the pipes to go over the axle for sidepipes maybe it would save some money as well. Keep the ideas flowin and pictures like that last one would be appreciated!!!!!
