I went to a junkyard and grabbed a few dashboard voltage regulators. On Fairmonts and Granadas these must be cut out of the printed-circuit board in the dash cluster.
Some of them are adjustable! Since we've had many posts about flaky gas gauges, oil PSI readings, etc., here's a good way to fix them up: get one of these adjustable units and replace yours. Turn the little screw on the bottom until your full gas tank reads just slightly over the "F" mark and you'll be happier about the readings you'll get.
After I get the pix, I'll post 'em here so you can see how to sub these in. It's very simple!
