Demon carb

Hi all. I had to replace the carb on my 1978 ford fairmont. It ran good for a few months, but lately seems to be doing bad. I noticed one time it was running rough, so I looked in the carb. Feul was just spitting out at idle.
Now here is the thing. Demon makes a little 350 cfm carb for v6 applications. Would this work ok on my lil 200? I can always use the adjuster to let less of a fuel/air mixture? I mean its only like $300 and the crappy ones from autozone are $200. The extra $100 for a good carb seems worth it. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ ... rmenbr=361

Hey, I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work. You might want to step up your cam if you havn't already. But it flows 500cfm, and it's basically like a holley. Not to mention theese billet carbs look awesome.

Do it.

I think I am too. Much better in design than this holley I have. That Road demon comes in either 350 or 500 cfm. I love that site window to set float levels without tearing the carb apart! Plus they look nice and they use standard jets and power valves.

299.00 for a superior 2 bbl 500 is a great price.

Well to get it running quick, i bought a carb for a 1982 ford truck 300. It runs WAY better than the stock carb. It also cost about $100 cheaper. It idles so smooth! I love it!
