Diff Gears ???????

Hey everone,

I know this may have been covered a bit but i will ask any way.

What Diff gears (crown wheel and pinion) will fit into a BW centre in my XF ute. I have heard of people using gears from skylines to get 4.11 rations etc. Are they using the just the crown wheel and pinion or are they using the whole centre. If either, what mods have to be done to fit

Also what models are interchangeable etc.

, i only really know a limited amount but.


in cortinas, a 4clyinder big housing bw diff has 3.5's and 3.7's thats all ive seen in these, the smaller housing cortina diffs may have different ratios.

i think 3.89's are avalible two,
pintara 4cylinders haveb 4.11's not sure what the sixes have.

in the falcons 2.78. 292 . 3.23 3.5s
ea-ef. 2.92. 3.08 . 3.23, 3.45

im prett sure all bits are interchanagle as far as crown and pinion, but the centers may, vary, any good differenatal, place will know where to go, because some pinions have shims, and otheres are like a crush spacer... i get scared when stuffing around with these things, very easy to make a noisy diff
