I am looking at a 1964 4 door Fairlane that is a retired Agricultur pool car. A buddy of mine says that alot of these cars have odd rearends like posi's etc. The way the numbers come off of the tag I really can't make thme match any of hte info I have found. As best as I can tell you the info is: Body 54A
Trim 14
then comes 27A 834169 and then a 3 near the axle line.
The lower number is 4F32T226489, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who monitors this site and answers the questions you do a great job, Raymond

4 = 1964
F = built at Dearborn, Michigan
32 = 4-Dr. Sedan Fairlane
T = 6cyl., 200 CID

and the 226489 should be production number..

i got this info from lovefords.com

Rear code of 3 would be 3.20:1 whereas the last digit you gave is 9. If this is the rear code, it's 4.11:1 - both are non-locking.
