dual holley 1904's on my 215

HELP! I have a 215 with a dual Holley 1904 setup, They keep taking turns flooding.The floats are good(not taking on fuel) and the rubber tips on the needle valves are in excellent shape.I have the glass float bowls on the carbs and you can watch them fill up.I may drive 1 mile or 10 but eventually 1 of them will just fill up.I am running an inline filter that is clear and no trash or sediment is present,I have cleaned them as well as the bowls/needle and seat anyways just so I can eliminate the idea of trash..All parts are in excellent shape and clean.I have my fuel pressure set ant 4.5 lbs.any help would be appreciated.

Drop the p.s.i. to 2.5. The carbs are rated for 3.5 or so. Also make sure the floats are not set too high to begin with. The fuel should be level with the top of the little rectangle in the middle of the glass bowl.

Play with your fuel pressure. Try what Fed said. Im runninga 3 x 1 on my 215 with 4 lbs and i dont have any more problems. You might need to put new seats in them. I know you say the look excelent but i had the same problem as you for a while. It gets frustrating but its well worth it. If you havent figured it out these carbs are very finickey, sometimes they will flood with 1 lb adn sometimes they wont. Have fun.

are you running one regulator? are they all flooding?what might be happening is one carb is getting 4psi but the other two might be getting 3psi. i don't know if this helps diagnosthe prob.

I am no longer running a regulator. It idles at about 4.5 lbs. I only had one regulator when i had one. I had 2 of them flooding at seperate times. I just kept trying defferent carbs because i had a lot of them and toying with float settings. Make sure there is no junk in your carbs. I was suckign up stuf from the bottom of my tank for a while so that was probably my problem.
