i am considering using a 250 in an early bronco.

can i use a 144 head on it?
get bigger valves
forged pistons
six large motorcycle carbs
cold air intake split up six ways by large pvc pipe

this is an early bronco with four speed wide ratio 4.11 rear

i am thinking of going with the stock 200, cliffords cam for torque curve at 3500 rpm and a turbo for my low end power and a 170 head get bigger valves cliffords headers and steel tubing for exaust mega phones or glass packs.
six motorcycle carbs with an intercooler
]
4.10 rear and a np435

Multi-carbs and a turbo are not really compatible technologies. You want one or the other. The turbo needs one big carb sized for the type of application (blow-thru or draw-thru) You really need to read MacInnes' book Turbochargers if you're planning on a turbo with carb.

Turbos don't work well with big cams either. Too much overlap and you just dump all the boost right out the exhaust, which both robs power and raises exhaust temps.
