EFI to gear Carb Head XF

Hi,

Is there much involved in changing over efi gear (injectors, pump, comp, wiring loom etc) to a carb 87 xf? just picked up recon carb 4.1 and a 'it just stopped on me' 85 ish EFI xf.

Or should I just stick with carb and be happy ( and have less problems because of it!)

I think there's a range of differences between the 2 beasts - at worst a new head (don't quote me on this one...but there's a knock sensor for the ECU which I believe the carb models don't have) right back to the air filter.

I have an XF EFI. If I had a choice I'd have a carb. These EFI's are just too finicky for my liking. All this rubbish with the crankcase having to be airtight really winds me up - too many potential problem sources.
 
Thankyou for setting me straight! I didn't really want to go efi cos there is that much stuffing around to change it across it wouldn't be worth it for the problems you seem to get. Ah well, I'll rip off the bits I want and flog it off!
