electric oil pump for turbocharging oil

I know I have seen the kits, particulary for 3.8 Buick motors, but I'd like to do a remote oiling system for my turbo application, so when changing oil ect... I don't have to worry about making shure the turbo is primed. What kind of a electric 12v pump can I use, that can pump regular motor oil, at the required preassure? I think I'm going to plum this into a remote oil filter kit, then to the turbo. for the oil tank, I'll probably use black iron water pipe, large diamater, maby 1/1/2", with a T, 2 6" legs, 1 with an elbow upward, both reduced to 1/4". a 6" snout coming off the top, with a cap for filling, run the pump off of the str8 1/4" leg, and the turbo return to the J'd T.

I would rather run the engine oil if I were you. if you run a pump it needs to drain to a tank (that gravity thing) and will require its own cooler also. for the money involved in doing it I think you could pay for a turbo rebuild.

Being I'm doing a rebuild anyway, I guess that's what I'll do. gotta pull the pan anyway. what is done to prime the turbo? just crank the engine until the light goes out? for initial startup, I'm going to spin the oil pump with a drill.

Don't know if it'd work on motor oil, but Paxton used to sell a remote cooler for their centrifugal superchargers that came with a recirculating pump; you might want to look into that.
