Hi everyone.

I am planning on converting to EI soon. I found this kit at California Mustang that cost around $150. Is there anything that I should substitute or add to the list?

Sets are available with 40,000 volt Black or Chrome Pertronix Coils. Sets include 1 Pertronix Ignitor Electronic Ignition, 1 Pertronix Flame Thrower Coil and 1 Pertronix Flame Thrower Spark Plug Wire Set.

Also do I need with or without thermactor?

have you looked into duraspark?

if i was going to do it again, and i went with Petronix, i'd go with the Ignitor II (pretty sure they have those for the I6)
look around man, maybe you can get everything else for cheaper elsewhere (although shipping can be a pain)

You should need one without the thermoacter. The Thermactor is equivalent to today's air pumps...so unless you have that, don't worry about it.

I love my pertronix. That being said, I'm still going to convert to Duraspark 2. If you go Pertronix, I would also recommend Ignitor 2.
