I inherited a 1966 Bronco that has been sitting since 1995. It appears to have a reman engine in it that has never been ran. I had bought a new carburetor, but it doesn’t fit the holes on the intake are too far apart and they’re at an angle. Upon further inspection, the block has a date code of 1968 and the intake has a date code of 1970. I am trying to find a carb but I don’t know what engine I have.

Small Six Casting Numbers
- The first two digits were the production year, the second two digits were the model.
- The first digit (always a letter) was for the decade - C=60's - D=70's - E=80's
- The second digit (always a number), was the production year.

You're missing the carb spacer that goes on the head before the carb, it rotates the mounting location to the correct orientation.
