I used the Firestone set but I don’t think it matters which you pick. Just looking at the brackets I thought the Firestones would do. Really easy to install them and like I mentioned, make a great difference in driving with a load or trailer. As you can see I still have overload springs that someone previously installed but they can be taken out now and the truck would probably ride a lot better.

Hey Jesse thanks for the pic! I have looked at the link from 67 2 4d several times. This is the way to go, definitely better than the Monroe Air inflatable shocks for a Ford pick up, the shock angle body-to-rearend is too steep. I've used the air shocks on many vehicles over the years with good results but I don't like the twist torque placed on the rear and leaf springs in the Ford. . Would have already ordered, but an unexpected medical bill appeared last week that I thought the insurance had paid, so 
. . airbags will have to wait. . BTW Firestone is the brand used on Freightliner Semi's from the factory. I changed one airbag out of six trucks owned over a 20 year, 2.8 million mile period. I will be going with the Firestone brand.

I have a feeling no matter which kit they all probably get the bags from Firestone one way or the other. Pretty much proven technology as you know. Would I air them up and put a million pounds in the back? No, but they would probably hang in there. I may one day add a compressor to the truck and link them to that. The one thing I would like to do and should do soon, get a couple of short lengths of hose with schrader valves. That way if you had a line failure you could at least cap off the airbag and or fill it back up for the journey.
