I hope your intake works as good as it looks.

Did you have to grind clearance on the alternator bracket to clear the front exhaust manifold?

I like your penthouse.

And your "WCFB" vent.

Thank you. My fingers are crossed that it does run well20211228_210433.jpg

Yes barely. Yes I did sand alittle. I despise grinding but ill do alot of sanding with a flap disc.

With all the work you have already put in, have you considered taking a few more minutes (probably a lot more than that) to grind away the casting flash on the lower manifold?

BTW - everything looks great.

The cranks were tough on the L6's, no rod noise- but I never owned a Chevy that didn't leak oil! (no comment about the 350 crank bearings! Only time I've experienced a thrown rod, 350 sbc cruising on a rural interstate in winter with my 2 year old daughter with me- in the era before cell phones.)
The 250 Chevrolet straight six was the first car engine I ever worked on.

Man I thought I was there I have 3 alternator brackets and all different. One has a Smog pump stuff on it. The 240 pne is not a cast bracket the one I bolted on was clean and minimal.

Alternator is of the 76 f150 witj 360.
The water pump pulley is of the 240 agoe unknown. Its the only water pulley I have.

Power steering will probly be fabbed so ill place it whereever the water pump and alternator belt isnt

Alt is lining up on furthest inside water on the Center

Had to drill Fan adapter and water pully to 3/4"

The long bracket the alternstor moves on I cut the spacer off where it bolts to timing cover. This makes me think alt needs to move out.

Ive bought the power steering belt and will get alternator belt tomorrow

Bed time.

I couldn't decide on 10 or 14" filter mainly because I dont like them and I didnt have a base that cleared bowels.
So unconventional and maybe buying for the future power bug. Also gives filter location options like in the cab aswell as shareing filters with my cummins.

The Look on peoples face when the hood opens will be worth at 20 horses and maybe get this across the 100hp line.

This is the very first motor ive ever put blingy shiny parts on like im doing with this damn 300.

Getting attached and its never run yet.

The 252 requires a very low compression ratio.
If you have to use a Comp Cam use the 260.

161Henry did 3 singles on a EFI lower intake.
He was going to use the center one as a primary and the outer two as secondaries but didn't follow through.

What do ya mean I didn’t follow through?? 😉

You run the three carburetors in sync not progressively.
That's what I meant.
Yes, they run great
Thanks for the latest videos.
Love the passengers.
