Fenton split manifold

It is not external and will not leak but will the internal leak cause any issues? I dont think it will but wanted to get some opinions on it

Congrats on finding one of the Fenton 223 exhaust split manifolds since they are quite rare now days. My guess without seeing it is it will would be fine. It just might bled some exhaust pressure back and forth from 3 to 4 and vise versa depending on how big a hole it is. You could post some pictures of it though that would be helpful. That hole being that large and its shape it really looks like it might of been made that way to provide exhaust heat going to the bottom of the intake manifold. I also Remember that there was also a special way that the stock exhaust manifolds needed to be split for good results that was quite different from what the Chevy guys did them. Don't know if these Fenton exhaust manifolds are all made that way though, think this is one of the first pictures showing a Fenton manifold off of an engine and also split from the intake manifold. Can't tell by the picture dose that hole continue also across over into the number three port? Still don't think the hole will be a problem in its operation.

Thanks. I was kinda wondering if it was on purpose. I ended up buying it with 2 2x1 Fenton intake manifolds and a Fenton valve cover. All I need now us a set of Barker high lift rockers. Thanks again .
