finished with intake for holley 500

I just finished my intake so that I can direct mount my holley 500. So far all the work has cost me 90 bucks and 30 of that is from the carb plates. I will try to post pics of it on Sunday.

Looks like you have an O2 sensor attached to the back header. What's that for?

o2 senser is for my air fuel ratio meter.

Gotta have an AFR meter to get the jetting right.

With only one oxygen sensor,you will only get a reading on 3 of your six cylinders.You really need two for proper tuning.

Looks great! Just curious, have you already figured out what you are going to use for a throttle cable and how you are going to mount it at the carb?

That mounting plate install is as well crafted as I have seen. Very nicely done. I just got a new goal to shoot for.

As for the AFR meter, is that continuous reading while operating or is it for the tuning/jetting only? I love the red headers too, by the way.

Sure hope that is Very High Temp paint on the headers.

It is a AFR meter, but it is a shortband AFR meter.

The other 60 bucks was for the milling the intake.

I have figured out how to hook up the throttle cable and I will post a pic once I find the wire to hook up the camera. I can't wait until they make memory cards with WIFI.

The paint said it could hold up to 1200F, but right when I fired it up it burned right away. O well I tried!

Where did you purchase that adaptor plate? Given the price of Aluminum and gas, it may be cheaper to just buy one than to make it myself.

Probably look nicer, too.
