Flat spot on Cam !

I took theFalcon Down to Indianapolis for the Goodguys Nationals and the motor started to miss and pop thru the carb. I trailered it home and now found the # 1 cyl. not working properly, seems to have wore flat spot on cam! I am using a Crow Cam anyone ever have this problem ? I only have about 500 miles on the motor.Anyone know where I can get a cam in the US of A or do I have to get another one from AUS. ( THIS SUCKS ) Thanks, Mike

never happened to me but have seen it happen to a few people.not sure why maybe from a lifter not going up and down properly?seems to be something that happens from time to time on crossflows.

the cam must not of been broken in right.... this can cause the lifters to chew out the cam.....
or some times youre just plain un-lucky
