Float height (dimmension) Weber DGV?

I have a Weber DGA5V. I just finished dismantling, cleaning and am reassembling the carb. This very used carb is new to me and I did not bother to measure the float dimmension unpon disassembly (not that I would trust it all that much when I do not know the history of the carb). My Haynes Webber manual gives a very indepth description of how to measure and adjust the float but no specs. The Weber carb kit also gave thourough instructions on adjusting the float but also no suggested dimmensions for doing so.

My carb has the plastic float. What is a good starting dimmension?

TIA

I forget, but I know there are two specs, depending on plastic or brass float.

Put something like "Weber DGV float height" (without the quotes) into google and you oughta pull up several sites that have the specs.

Pierce Manifolds has online spec sheets that you can download-or you can call/email them. they have been more than helpful to me in the past.

I am posting this for anyone who might search for the same answer in the future.

Originally I surfed for DGV5A float height but came up short. I followed jamyers advice for surfing for DGV and found the following links:

http://www.minimania.com/web/SCatagory/ ... ticleV.cfm

http://racing-stuff.com/weber.htm

These links agrees with one other web posting that mentioned 35mm but did not give an illustration (something that I prefer to have to confirm that I understand the verbiage correctly).
