Not much to report, I'm sad to say. I made a last minute decission to have longer valves installed in the head over 2 weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to get the head back with the custom valves, and some solution to the change in rocker geometry. I wanted to be free to experiment with some higher lift values after the initital dyno and didn't want to have to worry about hitting a wall as the stock valves are just too short for any serious cams - they don't do this head justice. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll have more to report by Friday.

I always tell people "It's the last twenty minutes that take four hours".

will you still be offering the Iron head. still debating between crossflow conversion

We have the iron heads on hold currently. We've discovered a core shift problem with some of their castings, and we don't see a resolution in sight. For now, we are waiting to see what kind of numbers the aluminums will put out, and more than likely, dedicate all out work towards them.

Seems more like it's the last 4 hours, that's taking 20 days.

Used SP heads are getting quite scarce, and prices are high. If I come across a decent head at a fair price, I'll probably offer it here, but shipping prices for the heavy iron head are quite expensive.
The aluminum head, on the other hand, it's brand new and comes with new seats and guides (the original SP needs valve inserts to be installed).
