great win i think and if he had of lost the champion ship it woulda been wrong, since he dominated all year

ingle== russel, that was the best driving i have ever seen, scafie is i dick head and he got put where he belongs and thats in a wall.
pitty he wasnt injured though. mabie he might grow some brains and drive a ford instead of being a holden puppet.

From the front view it looked like Ingall was in the wrong, from the rear view it looked like he wasnt......dont really care as Ambrose had it in the bag anyway. :lol:

Much as I dislike Scaife, purposely putting someone/anyone into the wall is not the way to win races.
Only cheats and liars would support that form of motor racing.
There was a kiwi who won bathurst with just that type of tactic and I still dont like it.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong... But isn't the driver on the outside supposed to "back off" once the inside driver passes the half way mark on the outside car?

he is the most aragant driver ever. he sooks almost as much as murphy.
he is on the radio today going around saying ingle tried to run him over . what a freak. he shouldnt have been on the race track, what sort of a perfesnal race driver and team leader walks on to the middle of a race track, ingle done the right thing swerving at the freak, it is v8 supercars not scafies v8 super cars bout time he learnt there are 30 odd other drivers in the series. if u watch the vision on tv, they were on the straight when it happend so, no one should have backed off, ingle droped a lhr wheel of the track and he tapped scafie, scaffie then hits him back, then ingle goes one better there was no intent to put him in the wall . im sure if i go through my vidoes of all the years of v8 super cars ill find footage of scaffie tapping people off the track going into corners, to go aroiund on the radio today, acting like he has never done it him self just proves to me how much he lives in scafie land. that shit happens all the times like when murphy hit lownds early on in the year. seaton back in the 90's hitting johnson going up through the cutting at bathurst, theres heaps of incedents.

look im sorry im showning how one minded and short sighted i am but scafie is just one v8 supercar guy i can not stand, just watch v8 superstars on tv and you will soon see what i mean tthank god ambrose kicked his arse all season, coulnd stand seeing scafies head getting any bigger, hrt are stuffed since twr in england gave them the arse.... good to see i think.
 
As a kid, the Dicky Johnston aussie battler was the high-light of Falcons winning. This 2003 AVESCO round with Ambrose ranks pretty darn close. I favour underdogs, and seeing Fords winning is great. Next year, I want to see the face of the Holden lovers wince, sure, but I aint gonna diss these other great drivers (Murphy and Skaife), cause they can sulk like a lemon sucker.

I guess I should admire people who are gentelman in motor sport. But I don't. People who winge, moan, and get bad press intreast me more than those who run a clean race. I loved it when Jim Richards called the Holden and Ford boys a pack of assholes when an imobolised 1.5 tonne lead ingot filled Nissan GTR won a rain shortened race, because Jimmy had needed to take being a B***ard Lessons for some time.

A declared winner is just that, a winner. I don't moan when Holdens have dominated sport in Aussie, because they've put more into it than Ford. Now its time for Ford to show a 25 year commitment to sport.

I agree that Skaife has a nasty side, but he's a glorious driver. He practices the best example of war-fare, making sure some other beggar goes off the road in the attempt to win, not him. His lines are clean, he doesn't hammer brakes or tyres, and we hate him cos he drives a Holden and is totally focused on winning. We really hate him because he doesn't suffer fools, and now we hate him 'cause he winges.

A 15 000 fin for Ingall, and 10 000 for him, and a dark moment for sport. However, I love Ingall, because he's like Larry Perkins, someone who'll rub yer nose in it if you make mistakes.

What pees me off is Murphy wasn't there to make it an all-in brawl/blood bath...

But this is why I love tin-top motor racing...there's an angle on fender every bender.

One of the members at my god botherer meetings is an avid Holden and Murphy nut. Primarily because his son got Murphs siggy on a hat, and a signed picky of his racer. Well, good on 'em. I guess this is multi-million stuff, but I hate to think of someone spending all his days doing that. Skaife isn't like that. He's a focused racer. Now he's blotted his copy book. And having a picky of some dude humping a lion as an HRT mascot isn't my idea of merchdising.
 
The penalties sound heavy, but then you realise what they take as earnings and benefits. Bring back the good old days of gentlemen and their disagreements. It could have been settled somewhere discreet. Throwing a tanty trackside is shocking behaviour in terms of workplace safety; so is swerving at someone.

It's the kind of stuff that has steered me towards the fun racing - brackets, historic, grudge matches at the drag strip... Everybody has a day job and (hopefully) some sanity.
