I'm driving a 1980 Mustang with a SROD with a 200 replacement engine in it. It cruises at about 1700 rpms at 55 mph. I've removed the power steering and have converted to a manual rack. The gearing in the rear is a 2.something. Not sure exactly which at the moment. It's on the tag, but I've forgotten what it was.
I've just dialed in the carburetor using a vacuum gauge and settled on 10 degrees on my ignition timing at the initial setting.
I'm running P195/70/14 tires on factory aluminum rims. I rarely rev it up over 2500 rpms because it just rolls along so easily.
My Durango gets 22 mpg on the highway, but absolutely STINKS in the city. So the Mustang is back on the road and doing beautifully!
As far as the roller cam and rockers, I'm an old member of this board who's come back home. Their are suppliers through this board who can help out with this. They are going to be the ones I ask. The same goes for the injection.
