Fuel starvation during HARD launch !!??!!!

Helo all....has anybody that's done the 2300 two barrel conversion experimented a lack of fuel during a hard launch??? I was doing some practice launches yesterday and at one point it suddenly lost power, then it nosed of and when I gassed it again it picked up, once it accelerated again it did the same thing.....could it be just a matter of the float level being to low, or is the main jet getting exposed and sucking air in????
BTW my car is hauling ass right now (well at least in my mind :roll: ) and I havent even completed my 1980 hi-po head :twisted: :twisted:

If the float is forward, then
check the float level to make sure you are not off.

if those are both fine, what size power valve is in it? is it the 350 or the 500 carb?
should have an 8.5 valve in the 350 which should give you plenty of pep off the line...
 
i sometimes had that problem with my holley 1bbl also, but after it dipped down it seemed like it came out of it running like a bat out of hell
