well, rockers are on, oil pump is primed, distributor is in, fuel pump is wired ( and tested on accident, had a little under 1 quart pump out b4 I realised, when I turned the key on ), MSD is fully wired. turbo exhaust hot piping is getting fabb'd, it will be tight, it's going in the back by the starter sideways, turbo exhaust exit will go out the fenderwell than down and around to the factory exhaust locations. I got the carb mod'd, removed choke, installed nitrophotle float. have to run the fuel lines to the Fram HPG-1 filter then to the carb. and the new total is $4,724 including the new 1/4 panals. can't wait to turn the key. gonna enter it into Syracuse Nationals 2007 in july.

will have very soon. my internet is down so I gotta use schools. have them in 2morrow, maby in a week when I get internet back up

a student that was helping me with the car stayed a little late yesterday ( he drove, so he could ) and finished up the hot side turbo piping, just need a flange with 3" bolt spacing, and it'll be all good. plenty of room for the wastegate. have to support the turbo also, but theres the 2 holes that are tapped in the back of the log that used to mount a cover, I can use those to hold a bracket. they were 5/16" allen bolts I think.

When are you gonna finish? I'm gettin anxious. Are you gonna post some burnout and 1/4 run video like from the earlier version? I know you're havin fun and gettin anxious too. The excitement must be really building for you. Just kiddin you. Take your time and get er done right. You've done some mighty awsome work and learned a lot too. What will the v8 naysayers have to say now? Probably won't be able to form many intelligible words do describe their surprise. Can't wait til you post pics. Keep up the good work.

your probably thinking of Hasa68mustang. this is a compleatly diffrent car, and person. it's a '67 Ford Falcon. Turbocharged/ Intercooled, DSII/MSD 6 BTM hooked up with a 8869 connector.

Matt, I'm very anxious to see your car as well, since I'm planning similar mods for my '69 SportsCoupe. :D

I think Matts right... There arent very many burnout videos from the 6's around here... *hint hint* but tires arent cheap... my tranny is still out so new videos from me...

well, I have pics but no way to upload right now, my internet is down on my computer, using my dads work computer at our other house to type this message ( have roadrunner ). anyway the engine ran, w/o turbo, I broke in the cam. sounded real nice. discovered a water leak in 1 of the head freeze plugs, so I gotta fix that by nocking a new 1 in. also, the msd box went bad, so summit's sending a new 1. I got the turbo hot side j pipe 100% done, just needs installed, wastegate mounting plate and o2 sensor bung are both in place, turbo flange is in place.

I really am getting senile. Sorry about mixing you guys up. I'm just excited that you guys are carrying on the hot rod tradition. There are so many other, not so becoming, interests and hobbies that people get involved in now days. I'm glad to see you guys at the grass roots level, fabricating and making it yourself, not afraid to be different and go your own way. Many follow the masses, swapping in a v8 and throwing cubic dollars at a car. You guys make me proud. Please post pictures when you can.
