Give me the bad news

Hi,
I was just about ready to take the Falcon on a test drive first time it has been tagged since 1992. I was about to close the hood when I see gas pouring out around a shaft under the fuel bowl (Carter YF).

This is not the bad part though blue smoke out the exhaust, it is also blowing out some oil as well  . I have no bubbles in the cooling system but I do get some white smoke coming out of the radiator once it warms up. What do you think bad valve seals or our the rings gone?. Ineed to buy or borrow a compession tester. I really need this car on the road.

Thanks

First:

If this is the first time the car has been started in 11 years, some smoke will be normal. Mine smoked after sitting for 8 months. Definitely replace or rebuild the carb.

The white smoke from the radiator (I assume with the cap off) is normal when it heats up, it is just steam. just make sure to keep it topped off until you know it is full.
