I am starting to put my Granada 250 back together that's in my Falcon. I am having some trouble figuring out how the alternator went on. I am pretty sure it was on the passenger side but ? I have all the brackets, I believe. Does anyone have a photo of thier setup? The motor is a '78, the car is a '65.

Thanks

Hay bud. ill take a pic of my alt. But its dark out so ull have to wait till tommorow :?

I still need a picture... I'm stumped on how this went together.

This is a set of NOS 250 alternator brackets for nonl AC cars:

This is how they mount on the block:

On those pictures, the alt is bolting on the passenger side, correct? I have the one bracket with the three holes but none of them line up at all.

I guess this is what happens when you dissasemble an engine a year ago... I'll just have to play with it. Thanks for going through the trouble to take some photos. :D

BackyardPB, is your car equipped with A/C? I seem to think that maybe the alternator was on the driver's side because it had an air pump, which had to be on the left to run to the carb/manifold/etc...

I really should have taken a pic... I had this problem before with a power steering pump on another car...

on my maverick I have power stering smog pump and alt and its on the passenger side
