head gasket list?

Is there a list of available head gaskets for 200's that shows the crush thickness, who makes them, part number and where they can be purchased? I have searched this and two other forums looking a good list of what available. There are lots of comments but no solid info.

Howdy Ranger:

The three choices of available gaskets are all composite type. They are-

Brand- Part # Thickness Compressed thickness
FelPro-7916 PT-1 .055" .050"
Victor-3910VC .046" .044"
Corteco- 20336-CS .057" .053"

These are advertized thickness using shop manual torque settings. To be accurate you should measure for yourself.

Fel Pro are most commonly available. Victor used to be markets excusively by NAPA, but are available through other outlets now. Corteco is from our host, Classic Inline. I have not used Corteco yet, but will on the next opportunity. All should seal way better than the OEM steel shim.

Mike (Classic Inline) shows that a thinner gasket is coming from Cometco. I'm anxious to see it in a .037" thickness.

Thank you, that is what I needed. I have used the last of my original shims and am in need of a new gasket. Just trying to go as thin as possable so I don't loose too much compression.
