Header for Bronco 170

Guys,

I'm going to replace the head on my bronco 170.

I've been thinking about installing a header, but the issue is the Bronco has a PTO shaft running from the t-case to a winch. My concern is the header may fall into the area where the pto shaft is located.

If any Bronco brethern have done this mod let me know and you car guys that have pictures to share might show where the header ends up would be of great help

i have a clifford header sitting on my kitchen floor right now but won't be installing it for a month or two. you might be able to find some pics over at classicbroncos.com

The norm seems to be at classic broncos is to ditch the thriftpower sixes and swap in a V-8. I'm of that school of thinking as well but this bronco is more of a restoration project since it is very early production (Aug 1965)

Typically as well thriftpower six questions get referred to this site.

Looks like I may just have to get a replacement stock exhaust manifold

the clifford header is pretty short so i can't imagine a good exhaust guy not being able to make it work.
