I have a part still on the bench after my 200 rebuild. I have the bottom end done and the head is still stripped. Do you recognize this part? Spark plug for size reference.

Looks like a pilot bushing that fits the back of the crankshaft and keeps the front of the manual transmission true.
 
That diameter looks a little small in diameter for output/input shaft diameters. It looks like the hole is the same size as the plugs threads. Is the spark plug for a 200?
 
Alternator spacer maybe? Looks small for a pilot bearing, never seen a pilot bearing with that much bevel on the edge.

looks like a Pilot Brg, should be 'Sintered Bronze' (sp?) if scraped clean, more likely simple spacer.

I think you’re on to something. It’s probably too small for a pilot bushing. It must be a spacer of some kind.
 
Looks like a left-handed bi-metallic Merftervator to me. The dead giveaway is the high machine quality of the bevel on the face surface, plus the fine texture of the finish. See if a magnet will stick to it. If it does, it is an original. If it does not, then it is a Made in China reproduction. At this point it might be worth a pretty good penny if it is an aftermarket reproduction, especially after the import taxation now incurred from importing equipment from China. If you don't need it, you could try & sell it on FleaBay for profit or just hold on to it & let it go up in value & sell it later. Just my $.02 worth suggestions.

Or... It could be those elusive non-chromed muffler bearings I was sent out to get in around 1980 when I got into cars.
 
Thanks for the replies. I have no idea where this part came from. When I pulled the motor down I put the parts in ziplock bags with labels. Later some of the parts got washed in a 5 gallon bucket with 2 gallons of kerosene. This part has been in the kerosene.
If I ever find where it goes I will post that in this thread.
