help!!! need starter!!!

ok I get everything done on my motor swap and go to reuse my old 3 bolt starter. I know I need a 2 bolt for the later bell but figured I could get the car started at least with just the one bolt holding it on....wrong. the starter will bench test fine and I can leave itout of the bell and it will work fine but soon as I bolt it in it barely turns. it doesn't even sound like it is kicking out and engaging either. now I need this car by the weekend but no one local stocks a manual tranny starter. what can I do? school starts on next tuesday for me and I need to leave by next monday evening if I am gonna make it there in time. has anyone rigged a 3 bolt starter to work? I am gonna call the parts places tomorrow and see if anyone can get me one by friday at the latest (still need to start this new engine and test out the t5 swap before driving 300 miles) is there a GM or mopar starter that might fit in there?

Ford used that starter on the 200 from 1966 to 1980 and you're telling me that no parts store can get one that fast?? I'm not doubting you, but that doesn't sound right to me.

Try partsamerica.com. Their website shows that they ship within a day.
