My 1982 Fairmont with the 200 and Holley 1946 is dripping fuel in the carb after being shut off. The car has only 29,000 miles. I rebuilt the carb, and it is still doing it. The car does run smoother since the rebuild. The engine does not seem to be runnig hot. The fuel pump was replaced prior to me getting the car. Also, the fuel filter was leaking last week, where it was crimped by the manufacturer. I had replaced that filter in April when I got the car. The vent system from the tank to the charcoal filter seems ok (no blockage). I do wonder about that "switch" with the wire that goes to the charcoal canister, should I replace it? Thanks
