Hi,
I know it's been a while since I've posted here, but I've checked in once in a while. I've been very busy with work and school these last two semesters. I worked fifty hours a week between semesters (not fun, but the money was good). The cars have been away in the garage and I haven't done much to them.
I'm still experiencing sluggishness on acceleration. I re-gapped the spark plugs back to the factory setting, but that did not help. I want to change to accelerator pump now, but I'm not sure where it is.
Can someone identify the accelerator pump on this diagram? Also, what is part number 45 (above the main carburetor body in the diagram)?
Thank you very much
Justin
P.S. I'm in the January issue of Hemmings and the February issue of Cars and Parts. The articles are about the all original 1953 Buick Super I acquired from my grandfather. Here is a preview of the Hemmings article.
