Not sure but it appears that the carb they used on the 1960's Ford 240, 6 cyl and the 1970's Ford 250, 6 cyl might physically fit on the manifold but the gas pedal linkage would need to be greatly modified. On the 240 engine, the intake was on the passenger side. The 223 intake was on the driver side. You might be able to still find a few old Mavericks, Pintos and Fairmonts in a junkyard somewhere and look at the carb on those. I think those all had the 250 engine. My guess is that the main bore on those might be a little bigger than the 223 intake.
