Hooker super comp headers fit? / Jet hot coating

Just a few questions to those of you that are running Hooker Headers . Did they fit perfectly right out of the box? ( i know how some headers are , they need a ding here and there to fit perfect) I am putting them on a 200 in a 69 mustang ( high starter) Reason i want to know it will save me time test fitting my engine and trans in the car . And Im also sending them to Jet Hot ( price seems high $235.00 plus shipping both ways) But they really do look nice when done. I anyone has a comments on either the fitting or the coating , i would apreciate any feedback you can give me

Although I have a 250 (low starter), my hookers fit perfect with no modifications whatsoever. I also had them Jet-Hot ceramic coated and they look great. They have been on close to 1 year and the coating looks brand new.

they clear my `66. you should have no problems with your '69

Mark, the hot jet coating is supurb.

The only small complaint is because of the long primary pipes is that they hang lower than other headers. All the primary pipes are 1 1/2" in diameter & i think 38" in equal length.
