How to ID a LSD center?

Hi Guys,

I have a 9 inch center and want to know if there is an easy way to tell if it is LSD by just looking at it. (I don't want to get my hands dirty)

I don't want to pull it apart as I will be returning it if it is not LSD.

Any help would be great.

Get a mate to hold one side
If you can turn yours ,you have an open center
If you cant its an LSD or a locker

Only problem is that the center is out of the diff and i have no axels to put in to turn.

Looks like i will need to stick it in and do a burnout to confirm!!.

No tags? At a long shot, maybe look up Fordman 75. If it's OEM here, then likely to be a locker. Imported - could be either.
