how to mount air cleaner?

ok, what I have is a '78 Buick turbo, on the inlet is bolt holes, where the carb plenum used to mount. this is an easy fix I know, just make a plate, weld on some exhaust pipe and away I go, but here's the perdicament. I'd like to run kind of a hidden air cleaner, I just bought the Turbonetics preassure plenum, from summit, so I don't want anything too visible. what should I do?

it would help to see a pic! but not knowing what youre looking at, find a place large enough to fit the air cleaner, and then run a duct from there to the intake and youre good to go

Put it in the wheel well with a couple of in and out ports and paint the whole thing the same color as the engine room.

How about one of those cone-shaped, import fresh-air-type filters under the battery?

Or you could go under the battery and turn right, go through the inner fender, that'd put it in front of the tire. Build a sheetmetal box behind the headlight, and there you go.

Battery idea sounds good. as long as I can get to it from underneath the car to change/ clean it, should be ok.
