Got a rebuilt 2100 from Ebay, and both ported vacuum holes (the ones above the mixture screws) are plugged with what looks like little copper freeze plugs. Does anybody know how I can safely remove these? Is it as simple as punching through them with an awl and prying them out?

Once it's out, is there some special nipple I need to get to attach the vacuum line?

thanks
Mark

I would drill a little hole and use an easyout

you will need a vaccum fitting of the right size, I think they have them at most parts places?
