What the best turbo to use?
What is the best location? Can I put it down by the passenger firewall?
How much boost? How much horsepower could I expect?
Any help would be appreciated.

Follow Import Killers posts. There are details on a simple J-tube from the stock exhast. This allows the turbo to be mounted.

He uses the Schendahls (Falcon Six Performance) method of placing a 350 Holley on the car, then boosts it to 6 to 9 pounds. The details are simple, and he has used a Jeep carb or TBI hat to provide boost.

Check Stan's (54Ford) posts. Then have a look at Does 10's, and, esepcially, Drag-200's posts (Can't remember his exact name, sorry). (He is the guy who did a draw-through 200 drag car back in the late 70's, early 80's). The Mustang drag car had a V8 transmission, and it had the starter where your 250 has its one.

Basically, it's a very simple swap.

Do the searching, and enjoy it.
