Hey guys,
Im running a twin turbo'd 4.0l aussie ohc six. On the weekend i finally played around with my new ecu and got it running really well, except at 4750 any gear it misses. Not a complete dead miss but just dropping a couple cyls so its like a soft rev cut. Its runs a motorcraft electronic dizzy the same as whats on the 302 efi f trucks. It was running fine before on the old comp, everythings the same now except the ecu.... they run a powerful coil from the factory and its a new one, the module and dizzy are less than 20k old and the leads are new, plugs are new and gapped to 32 thou or 0.8mm. any ideas?
 
Are you running a standard Ford ECU or some aftermarket box?

It sounds to me like the dwell period is incorrect and it's giving the TFI module the _hits.

TFI can sometimes be a pain - I went EDIS - a much better system.
