Ignition coil question

I put in an ignition coil from a 1960, 144 into my falcon and it seems to work fine. However, I notice today it says on the coil to use with electronic ignition and I have points. Do you know if this will cause me problems or is this coil compatible? Thanks!!

I'd say it would be OK as they didn't have electronic ign in the 60's anyway... If it did come off a 60's. It might just supply some extra voltage..
