I'd suggest any of us using the Australian cylinder head and intake manifold carefully check the port alignment. A good thing to do anytime and probably routine for most of you.
I found a fair degree of misalignment on intake ports three and four. A little on the rest. I checked the gasket against the head (no too bad) and the intake manifold (not so good). A little work with a carbide tool and die grinder fixed the problem--on both the head and the intake manifold. In each case, be cautious until you know how fast the cutter removes material.
Baby steps toward getting this thing running.
